Combat is a key element of the game. All of the expeditionary forces will have combatants fighting on behalf of their kingdoms and countries. Here is where you'll learn the ins and outs of how to properly bludgeon your enemies, and what to do if your character gets bludgeoned to oblivion.

Magic

Magic, the source of many a wonder, and the cause of many a cataclysm. It's said in The Great Age of Heroes magic users could sunder mountains and hold back the seas. While that might not be the case today, magic is still an incredibly powerful tool to be used. Here you'll learn more about magic and see what spells are available to you should you choose to walk that path.

Contracts

The Vaerün Trading Company is methodical about its book keeping, and some would say officious to a fault. Certain Quests, and many negotiations will require contracts. These are best when you need something to carry the full legal weight of the VTC. Examples include official negotiations between factions, the rights to mine certain ore deposits, guarantees of payment from merchants braving the wilds to supply newly established outposts, etc.

Safety

Last but CERTAINLY not least, is safety. Things like hand signals to use if RP is getting too intense, verbal calls if there's an actual medical emergency, etc. This is required reading for any adventurer.
