Contracts

At Incursion The Vaerün Trading Company keeps impeccable records.  As such, many of the quests you'll be assigned will involve various types of contracts. Contracts are used both for roleplay purposes, and to track certain expedition goals. Certain quests may even require players with specific abilities to steal contracts from other players, preventing them from completing specific quests. In certain instances if contracts between two parties are purposefully breached, it may result in a boon being given by the Vaerün Trading Company to the damaged party.

Writ of Prospecting

A Writ of Prospecting is a contract that will allow the contractor(s) the rights to mine a specific location on the island for Iron Ore and the ever valuable Allspar.  Writs of prospecting are contracts put out by the Vaerün Trading Company to expeditionary forces, in exchange for assistance in the mining endeavor the participants will receive a fair amount of the ore and allspar harvested.

Supply Line Contract

The Windenwood is a dangerous place, and VTC merchants often require additional protections when returning to Fortune's Landing from outposts further afield. By accepting a supply line contract you'll be escorting a merchant from one outpost to another, or from one outpost to Fortune's Landing

Writ of Procurement

A Writ of Procurement will sometimes be drafted  by the Vaerün Trading company when supplies are running low. The Writ of Procurement is a simple request offered to potentially any character to forage for and return with whatever resources the Company may need. Typically these contracts offer monetary rewards for the resources obtained.

Order of Assassination

An order of assassination is typically not something the Company requests. There are rumors of a more nefarious group operating within the bounds of Fortune's Landing who have been alleged to put out hits on important individuals, among other unscrupulous acts. If someone searches hard enough amongst the dregs they could certainly find work of this sort.

Ad-hoc Contract

Ad-hoc contracts are generic contracts that can be created between any two players who wish to do business together. These oftentimes aren't required, and verbal agreements can often suffice, however if either of the parties wants extra reassurance and the official backing of the VTC, or if they have a need to officially track such endeavors then this contract is the way to go.
